M.B., Ch.M. : Corporal, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 24th November, 1915, and sailing 9th March, 1916, served with 5th Australian Field Ambulance in Pozieres sector until wounded at Mouquet Farm 26th August, returning to Australia in June, 1917. Early education at Woodford Academy. Later at St. Andrew's College with one year in Arts.
