Book of Remembrance entry
His surname and initials are not listed in the Book of Remembrance. His University Union War Service Record (attached) states "Dear Sir, Your note received, As the Armistice came before I left Australia I presume you will not require this form completed. The Jubilee Book refers to "those who through some misfortune were precluded from active service abroad." I certainly do not regard the Armistice as a "misfortune", signed J.M.Ralston.
