Enlisting 23rd April, 1917, and sailing 23rd June, served as dispenser with various units, including No. 5 Sea Transport Section and No. 1 Australian General Hospital, Rouen, until demobilisation. A.M.F. : Home Service with 39th Battn. and German Concentration Camp, Holdsworthy. Early education at Crystal St. Superior Public School, Petersham.
