M.B., B.Sc. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France and England. Joining 9th Australian Field Ambulance on formation 1st March, 1916, and sailing 5th July, served at Armentieres, Messines and Passchendaele. Transferring to No. 2 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Southall, in December, 1917, returned to Australia 4th October, 1918. Early education at Fort St. High School. Later at St. Andrew's College.
