M.M., B.Ec. : Lieutenant, 14th Bde., A.F.A., and 12th A.L.H. Regt., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting in January, 1915, and sailing in June as trooper, served at Gallipoli from August till the Evacuation. Transferring to 5th Divisional Artillery in March, 1916, and crossing to France, served until demobilisation, although wounded at Morchies June, 1917, and Joncourt 15th October, 1918. Promoted driver, bombardier, corporal, sergeant and lieutenant.
