M.A. : Assistant Nurse, V.A.D. (Australian), England. Sailing with special detachment in September, 1916, was transferred by British Red Cross to Military, and served at No. 5 Northern General Hospital, North Evington Branch, Leicester, returning for demobilisation. Mentioned in Despatches. Early education at Abbotsleigh College.
