M.B., Ch.M. : Trooper, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Palestine. Enlisting 3rd October, 1917, and sailing 26th June, 1918, served with 4th A.L.H. Field Ambulance at Ludd till evacuated sick, 22nd August. Rejoining unit in December, was finally invalided from Tripoli (Syria) to Australia, arriving 6th March, 1919. Early education at Sydney High School.
