(Lond., Dub. and Leeds), Demonstrator in Physiology (1889) : Colonel, R.A.M.C., B.E.F., France. Served in France as Consultant Physician from October, 1914, to March, 1918. Made a K.B.E. in 1918 and a C.B. in 1915. Awarded 1st Class Order of St. Sava, Serbia, and Mentioned in Despatches. Professor of Experimental Pathology, University of London, and Principal, Institute of Pathology and Research, St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington. Hon. Fellow, Trinity College, Dublin, and Corresponding Member of the Institute of France. Gold Medallist, Medical Society of London, Royal Society of Medicine and at B.A. (First in Modern Literature). Member of Leipzic, Strassburg and Marburg Universities and a student of Inns of Court.
