M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 1st November, 1916, and sailing 19th December with A.A.M.C. reinforcements, served at No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Abbeville, from 3rd November, 1917. Joined 15th Australian Field Ambulance on 13th, being R.M.O. 58th Battn. and 5th Machine Gun Battn. for short periods till wounded at Villers-Bretonneux. Died of Wounds, near Villers-Bretonneux, 9th August, 1918, and was buried in Villers-Bretonneux Cemetery. Early education at Sydney Church of England Grammar School. Later at St. Paul's College.
