M.B., Ch.M., D.P.H., D.T.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting 8th January, 1917, and sailing in March, was for a short time at No. 2 Australian Stationary Hospital, El Arish. Then joined 1st A.L.H. Field Ambulance and became R.M.O. A. and N.Z. Divisional Train, and later of 1st Field Squadron Engineers. After the Armistice, served at No. 14 Australian General Hospital, Port Said, returning in January, 1920, after non-military employment in England. Early education at Fort St. High School.
