Book of Remembrance entry
M.B., Ch.M., M.R.C.P. : Sergeant, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Gallipoli. Enlisting in March, 1915, and sailing in May, served with 13th Australian Field Ambulance at Anzac until the Evacuation and in Egypt till July, 1916, when returned to Australia to complete medical course. After graduation was in University Coy. Early education at Friends' High School, Hobart. Later at St. Paul's College.
