Book of Remembrance entry
LL.B. : Corporal, Heavy Trench Mortar Battery, and 7th Bde., A.F.A., A.I.F., France. Enlisting n th December, 1916, and sailing 5th November, 1917, joined T.M. Battery on arrival, serving with it until it was disbanded, and then with 7th Field Artillery Brigade till the Armistice, although wounded and gassed at Villers-Bretonneux in May, 1918. Thereafter served as Lecturer and Interpreter, 1st Divisional Education Tours, till demobilisation.
