Med. : Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 7th October, 1915, and sailing 22nd August, 1916, served with 8th Australian Field Ambulance on the Somme from October till invalided to England in February, 1917. Rejoining unit in May, served till again invalided to England 1st January, 1918, and later to Australia, arriving 5th July. Early education at Barker College and Sydney Church of England Grammar School.
