Arts and Law : Corporal, 102nd Howitzer Battery, A.F.A., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 7th February, 1918, and sailing 6th June, passed as signaller I, Heytesbury Artillery Signal School, and was promoted driver on joining battery, and later extra-regimental corporal as instructor under A.I.F. Education Scheme, serving until demobilisation. Early education at The King's School.
