M.B. : Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., Gallipoli and E g yp t; also Surgeon, R.A.N. Enlisting and sailing in April, 1915, served with Mediterranean Force in ships carrying wounded, at No. 15 Stationary Hospital, Lemnos, and later as R.M.O. 13th Manchester Regiment at El Ferdan, returning to Australia about June, 1916. Joined R.A.N. in March, 1917, and returned with torpedo boat destroyer flotilla in 1919. Early education at St. Bede's Convent, Newtown, and Fort St. High Schools.
