Book of Remembrance entry

M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France and England. Enlisting 3rd April, 1918, and sailing 17th July was with 1st Australian Field Ambulance nominally, but served with British Labour Corps and Prisoner of War Camps in France after some time in various training depots, including Fovant and Hurdcott. Finally was with remnants of 13th Brigade, 2nd A.F.Amb. and then 50th and 51st Battns. at Aiseau and later at Longbridge Deverell, Parkhouse and elsewhere until demobilisation. Early education at Fort St. High School.
