Book of Remembrance entry

B.Sc., B.E. : Lieutenant, R.F.C., B.E.F., France. After passing all tests —among the first at Richmond Aviation School—proceeded to England 18th April, 1917, and joined R.F.C.
Trained at Farnborough, Reading and Hendon, was commissioned 30th May, promoted flying-officer 13th Ju ly and crossed to France on 19th,serving till death.
Killed by Accident, Belgium, 26th July, 1917, a few days aftercrossing—while testing an aeroplane—and was buried in Mendinghem British Cemetery, Proven.
