Book of Remembrance entry
Arts I : Lieutenant, Wiltshire Regt., B.E.F., France. Sailing early in 1916, enlisted in 3rd Battn. Wilts, at Devizes as second-lieutenant immediately on arrival in England and, joining 1st Battn. on crossing to France about September, was then attached to 2nd Battn. till death. Killed in Action, near Bapaume, 18th October, 1916. Commemorated in Thiepval Memorial. Early education at Sydney Church of England Grammar School.
