Book of Remembrance entry
Massage : Private, 31st Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 8th April, 1915, and sailing after sickness 2nd January, 1916, with 8th Reinforcements 26th Battn., crossed from Egypt to France in June and was wounded at Bois Grenier 20th July. Rejoining battn. about December, was invalided from Albert to England 30th December and thence to Australia, arriving in September, 1917.
