B.Ec. : Private, 1st Battn., A.I.F., France Enlisting 1st May, 1916, and sailing 7th October, was promoted temporary corporal but reverted to private in England. Crossing to France, was wounded at Bullecourt 5th May, 1917, returned to Australia 31st December, and was discharged medically unfit in March, 1918. . Early education at Randwick Intermediate High School.
