Book of Remembrance entry
Laboratory Assistant, Physics: Sapper, 2nd Divisional Signal Coy., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting 2nd April, 1915, and sailing 2nd June, landed at Gallipoli 20th August, 1915, and was later invalided to Gibraltar and England. Crossed to France in March, 1916, and served until invalided to hospital in England in August, 1918, returning to Australia in February, 1919.
