Book of Remembrance entry
B.Ec., Arts : Lieutenant, 113th Howitzer, 4th Light Trench Mortar and 55th Batteries, A.F.A., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 16th September, 1916, and sailing 19th December, joined 14th L.T.M. Battery in France in April, 1917, transferring four and a half months later to 55th (18 pounder). After nine months was sent to St. John's Wood Cadet School, London, commissioned four months later, returned to France and served with 113th Battery for ten months until demobilisation.
