Book of Remembrance entry
M.B.E., B.D.S. : Captain, A.A.M.C. (Dental Services), A.I.F., Gallipoli, France and England. Enlisting in March, 1915, and sailing 31st May, served as stretcherbearer until commissioned in Dental Services in January, 1916. Crossing to France was with 5th and 15th Australian Field Ambulances, and at times attached to British units. After the Armistice did duty at A.I.F. H.Q., London, until demobilisation. Early education at Newington College.
