M.D., Ch.B., D.Sc. (Edin.), F.R.S.E., Bosch Professor of Histology and Embryology : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F. and 8th Battn., King's Own Scottish Borderers, B.E.F., France. Being commissioned to K.O.S.B. 14th December, 1914, was promoted lieutenant 28th January, 1915, and, crossing to France in July, fought till the end of 1916 at Loos and the Somme. Joining A.I.F. 4th October, 1917, was with n th Australian Field Ambulance till demobilisation. Balkan War : Served with Serbian Army, 1912-13. Associate Professor of Anatomy, 1926-28. Professor of Anatomy and Histology, University of Bangkok, 1924-26. Early education at Kyre College, Adelaide.
