B.A., M.B., Ch.M. : Surgeon-Lieutenant, R.A.N., Enlisting and sailing 28th August, 1916, served on H.M.A.S. Encounter and Una while based on Rabaul and during a punitive expedition in the New Hebrides. Later sent to Tingira , R.A.N. College, Cerberus and, in November, 1917, to the Navy Office, Melbourne. Eafly education at Sydney Church of England Grammar School.
