Enlisting in London in November, 1915, after sailing privately, served two months in Soldiers' Wards, Paralytic Hospital, Queen's Square, then at Plymouth War Hospital till marriage in June, 1917, and subsequently at Salisbury Hospital. B.R.C. Certificate for Valuable Services Rendered . Early education at Ascham School. Later at the Women's College.
