B.D.S.; D.D.S. (Penn.) : Captain, A.A.M.C. (Dental Services), A.I.F., Egypt, England and France. Enlisting 15th September, 1915, was at Liverpool Camp till 2nd May, 1916, and No. 4 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Cairo, in June and July. From September, 1916, to December, 1917, was attached to Command Depots, Perham Downs, Wareham and Hurdcott, and A.F.C., Birmingham. Then served with 8th Australian Field Ambulance in France till March, 1919, and as S.D.O., A.I.F. H.Q., London, till demobilisation. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
