15.4.15, Lieut. R.A.M.C.; served in France with 17th Div. 1915-7, and in Palestine and France 1917-8 with 60th Div.; Capt. April 1916; Sir Douglas Haig's Despatches 9.4.17, being then attached 17th Royal Welsh Fusiliers.
On 27th August 1918, while temp. attached 6th Royal Berks., he was killed instantaneously by a fragment of shell. He was buried at Beidert Chateau, near Albert.
