Book of Remembrance entry
Pharmacy : Lieutenant, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Gallipoli, Egypt and England. Enlisting 30th April, 1915, with No. 3 Australian General Hospital and sailing 15th May, was promoted staff-sergeant at Lemnos in 1915. Returned to Australia on transport duty in the latter part of 1916 and re-embarked for England in January, 1917. Was promoted lieutenant 1st December, 1917, as Officer in Charge, Base Depot of Medical Stores, H.Q., London, serving till demobilisation. A.M.F. : Appointed Senior Pharmaceutical Officer, 2nd Military District (N.S.W.), about 1925. Early education at St. Joseph's College.
