Arts III (e) : Private, 2nd Battn., A.I.F., Gallipoli. Enlisting 28th August, 1914, and sailing in October, served with battn. at the Anzac Landing and till death. Killed in Action, Shrapnel Gully, 2nd May, 1915. Commemorated in Lone Pine Memorial. Early education at Fort St. High School.
