Enlisting 17th March, 1915, and sailing on 23rd, arrived in London 2nd May, crossed to France with 19th Division in July and served continuously until demobilisation, first as M.O. 58th Field Ambulance, subsequently to 86th Field Artillery Brigade, and then to 3rd Cavalry Corps. Harris Scholar; Clipsham and Parkinson Memorial Prizeman. Chief Executive Officer and Medical Superintendent, Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children. Early education at Kilburn Grammar School, London, (Head Boy). Later at London University
