M.B. : Surgeon-Commander, R.A.N. Upon mobilisation with Reserve 3rd August, 1914, served on H.M.A.S. Sydney as Assistant Surgeon in New Guinea waters, Herbertshohe and elsewhere till recalled to Sydney for docking and overhaul 5th November. Killed by Accident, while on short leave, Chatswood, 7th November, 1914, and buried in South Head Cemetery. President, Undergraduates' Association.
