M.B., Ch.M. : French Army. Being a French subject, sailed in August, 1918, to enlist with prior Class but, arriving at Bordeaux the day after the Armistice, was granted surces (leave) to finish medical studies and the special privilege of returning on an Australian troopship early in 1919. Early education at St. Aloysius' College.
