Diploma in Economics and Commerce : Private, 17th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 18th January, 1917, and sailing 7th February, served until demobilisation, although wounded at Ypres in September, 1917, and gassed in Beaurevoir sector 4th October, 1918. Early education at Riley's Hill and South Woodburn Public Schools. Later at Teachers' College.
