Enlisting 24th May, 1917, and sailing 16th July, served at No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Abbeville, from 29th October, joined 1st Australian Field Ambulance 4th November, being R.M.O. 1st Divisional Ammunition Column from 18th December until demobilisation. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
