Book of Remembrance entry
Law : Warrant-Officer, Australian Cavalry Divisional Signal Squadron, 2nd Signal Troop, and 1st Anzac Wireless Squadron, A.I.F., Gallipoli and Mesopotamia. Enlisting 2nd February, 1915, and sailing 10th August, was with 2nd Troop in Gallipoli and returned 3rd March, 1916, on escort duty. Re-embarked for Mesopotamia as W.O. Cavalry Squadron 9th May, 1917, reaching Basrah via Colombo and Bombay 25th June, and was at Tekrit, Sadiyah and elsewhere until the breaking up of the squadron. On 23rd May, 1918, transferred as squadron sergeant-major to 1st Anzac Wireless Signal Squadron, serving until demobilisation.
