M.B. : Major, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting 16th August, 1915, and sailing 2nd November, served with No. 1 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Heliopolis, till May, 1916. Was R.M.O. 8th A.L.H. Regt. till February, 1917, with No. 2 Australian Stationary Hospital, El Arish and Moascar, till April, 1918, with Camel Ambulance till 1st July, when promoted major, and then with 5th A.L.H. Field Ambulance till demobilisation. Early education at Convent School, Quirindi, and Sacred Heart College, West Maitland. Later at St. John's.
