Book of Remembrance entry

Law : Bombardier, 37th Battery, A.F.A., A.I.F., France; also A.N. and M.E.F., New Guinea. Enlisting 10th August, 1914, when 17, and sailing on 18th, served six months at Rabaul until invalided 4th March, 1915. Re-enlisting 18th April, 1916, and sailing 14th September with Artillery reinforcements, joined battery in France in December and remained there until 5th June, 1917, when wounded at Messines and evacuated to hospital in England. Rejoining battery in October, served until demobilisation. Early education at Gunnedah Superior Public School (Dux).
