M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt. Enlisting 18th July, 1915, and sailing 20th May, 1916, as O.C. No. 2 Section on hospital ship Karoola after being M.O. at Randwick Military Hospital, joined No. 3 Australian General Hospital at Abbassia. Returning as S.M.O. troopship Clan MacGillivray 17th August, contracted severe sickness on voyage and was demobilised 13th April, 1917Joined Mercantile Marine as Surgeon and served until the end of the War. Early education at The Scots College. Later at St. Andrew's.
