M.B., Ch.M. : Trooper, 5th A.L.H. Regt., A.I.F., Palestine. Enlisting 30th August, 1915, and sailing in March, 1916, served with an Infantry training battn. till April, when transferred to Light Horse and was with them in all engagements till the end of August, 1917, returning to Australia in October. Early education at The Southport School. Later at St. Paul's College.
