Furthermore
Sydney Elliott Napier was never enrolled in a university degree although he passed the University of Sydney matriculation exam. He was an articled clerk and studied law through the Solicitors Admission Board. The digitised pink War Service Record shows a large red cross, thought to have been made by an archivist preparing the original 1939 Book of Remembrance, denoting exclusion from the Book.
