B.E. : Private, 3rd Battn., A.I.F., Gallipoli. Enlisting 4th December, 1914, and sailing on 21st, served at the Anzac Landing, being wounded severely 27th April, 1915, and evacuated to hospital and Australia, arriving in February, 1916. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
