Book of Remembrance entry
B.D.S. : Lieutenant, 14th M.G. Coy., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting 23rd June, 1915, and sailing 9th August, fought with 1st Battn., Machine-gun Section, at Gallipoli for six weeks prior to the Evacuation. Then joining 14th Coy., served in France from July, 1916, until demobilisation, being commissioned after course at Oxford in May, 1918. Early education at Sydney High School.
