Book of Remembrance entry
Med. : Lieutenant, R.F.A., B.E.F., France. Sailing privately in May, 1915, joined King Edward's Horse in England, but soon transferred to Field Artillery, 37th Division, serving over twenty months at the Somme, Givenchy and Beaumont Hamel till death. Killed in Action, Flanders, 18th April, 1917, and buried in Bois de Noulette British Cemetery, Aix Noulette. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
