Book of Remembrance entry
M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Palestine and Egypt. Enlisting 1st December, 1916, and sailing in February, 1917, was with 1st A.L.H. Field Ambulance for two months and then R.M.O. 1st A.L.H. Anzac Division till July, 1918. Transferring to No. 2 Australian Stationary Hospital, Moascar, was with 3rd A.L.H. Bde. F.Amb. in Tripoli from October to March, 1919, and served during Egyptian Rebellion at Zag-a-Zig, later being at A.I.F. H.Q., Cairo, until demobilisation. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
