Book of Remembrance entry
M.P.S., Pharmacy : Staff-Sergeant, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 12th June, 1915, and sailing 30th September with No. 1 Australian General Hospital reinforcements, was with it at Cairo and Rouen. Joined 15th Australian Field Ambulance 6th October, 1916, remaining with it till 31st October, 1918, when transferred to No. 3 A.G.H., Abbeville, serving until demobilisation, though wounded at Flers, 19th July, and Montauban in November, 1916. Early education at Fort St. High School.
