B.A. : Private, 19th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 5th October, 1916, and sailing n th November with 18th Reinforcements, crossed to France in May, 1917, joined battn. at Ypres and was wounded during advance to first engagement, 18th September. Died of Wounds, Dickebusch, 19th September, 1917, and was buried in The Huts Cemetery, Dickebusch. Early education at Sydney High School.
