Mr Andrew Fyfe Mcintosh entered Roseworthy Agricultural College to study Agricultural Science in 1914. He left his study in September 1915 to join the war effort. 2 months later, while on guard duties at Keswick barracks, he was taken ill and died the next day of cerebro spinal meningitis.
