Book of Remembrance entry
Pharmacy : Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting 26th December, 1915, and sailing 30th March, 1916, joined No. 2 Australian Stationary Hospital, Tel-el-Kebir, which became after departure of Brigades to France, chief Casualty Clearing Station at El Arish for A.L.H. engagements. Injured while stretcher bearing at El Arish in May, 1917, necessitating return to Australia, 24th August. Early education at Marist Brothers' High School, Darlinghurst.
