2/Lt. 6th Royal North Lanes., serving with Mediterranean E.F. He was reported missing on the Tigris line, on 9th April 1916, after three days fighting in the Kut Relief Expedition. No information has since been obtained, as not one of the Company that went out that morning ever returned.
